FLIPPIN FLOWER MOSAIC- This kaleidoscope of fractured colors and topsy-turvy flowers are constructed with quick piecing methods. Interpret this design in colors of choice - bright and bold nearly solid fabrics, soft and sweet pastels, or a myriad of other color combinations. There are only two pieced units throughout - the Flower Unit and two sizes of Quarter Square Triangle Units. Even the flower stem is pieced into the blocks. Projects include a Bed Quilt (81" x 96"), a Wall Quilt (48" x 48" with borders), and smaller quilts with flowers in a row. $10.00 + S & H. Currently advertised in Quilt Sampler, Quilt, and McCalls Magazines.
ROUNDS OF RAILS Two different rail fence blocks are made from five fabrics, and arranged to make an attractive medallion. The dimensions can be extended further by a strip pieced border which is pictured in browns. The quilt size is variable depending on the number of rounds - make it smaller or larger. A baby quilt layout is provided as well as a Table Runner/Pillow Sham plan. This pattern requires accurate cutting, consistent strip sewing, and seam matching. Our beautifully landscaped facility is available for quilt retreats, family gatherings, and other creative endeavors with lodging nearby at the Story Pines Inn, Wagon Box Cabins and RV Park, and the Hitching Post Bed and Breakfast Lodge. We have some wonderful restaurants, a beautiful newly remodeled Fish Hatchery, and hiking and ATV trails. We are out of the way, but out of the ordinary. Come visit us soon!
